OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry Training
This course is mandatory on construction sites in New York State, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Missouri and Nevada.
The OSHA Outreach Training Program is OSHA's primary way to train workers in the basics of occupational safety and health. The OSHA 10 Hour Outreach Training Programs were developed by the OSHA Training Institute with the intent to assist employers in training and introducing employees to the basic practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with their work.
Over the past three years, over 1.3 million students have received training through this program.
This course covers ten (10) hours of courses, required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), that apply toward the 10-hour Construction Industry course completion card (OSHA 10 Hour Card).
Our OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry Training Course is Fully Accepted by OSHA and Our OSHA 10 Hour Card is Valid Nationwide!
This module is comprised of 12 sections, covering topics pertaining to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. The successful completion of this course will help to meet the Construction Industry standards established by OSHA.
If you've been told that you need an OSHA 10 Hour Card, this is the course you need to take. Upon completion, you may print out your temporary certification immediately and you will receive your official Dept. of Labor OSHA Card by mail within 30 to 45 days.
You may take the course in segments or all at once. You must achieve a 70% or higher on the final test in order to receive your OSHA 10 hour card. In the event you don't pass the first time, you have two additional attempts at no charge!

Time to completion: Once you enroll in the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Outreach Training course you will have 6 months to successfully complete the course. If you do not complete the course in 6 months you will not receive a certificate for course completion.
Type of Course: Our New For 2009 course is an online, interactive program which can be taken at the student?s pace and convenience. It is available online 24/7 and will be an active, available program for six months from the date of registration.
Evaluation: This U.S. OSHA 10-Hr. Construction Industry Outreach program contains 10 topic modules, each with its own lessons. Each module includes lesson quizzes to test the student?s comprehension of the material just presented.
There is a final quiz at the end of each module which requires each student to attain at least 70% correct to progress to the next module. Upon conclusion of the entire program, each student will take a final quiz, with the same 70% minimum correct requirement. In the event the student does not pass the final test on the first try, each student will have two (2) additional attempts to pass the test at no additional charge.
At the time of completion, the student will be able to download and print a 360Training certificate indicating successful completion of the course, and for continuing education credit purposes. In addition, the student will receive their U.S. OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry wallet card directly from the US department of labor in the mail.

Module covers thirty (30) hours of courses, required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), that apply toward 30-hour Construction Industry course completion card. This module is comprised of 23 sections, each either one or two hours in length, and covering topics pertaining to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. The successful completion of this course will help to meet the Construction Industry standards established by OSHA.
You will be sent a copy of OSHA Standards for Construction. The book will serve as an invaluable resource for referencing OSHA standards that have been covered in this course, as well as researching regulations or standards that could help in establishing a safer workplace.
You will also find supplementary materials available for download by clicking the ""Materials"" tab on the menu located within the courseplayer. You can find printable course summaries of each module in addition to a syllabus of the entire 30 hour course. Other reference materials are available from the OSHA website; please visit www.osha.gov.

Hazwoper 24 Hour Course  HAZWOPER 24 Hour is required for employees visiting an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation mandated by the Government. This course covers broad issues pertaining to the hazard recognition at work sites. OSHA has developed the HAZWOPER program to protect the workers working at hazardous sites and devised extensive regulations to ensure their safety and health. This course, while identifying different types of hazards, also suggests possible precautions and protective measures to reduce or eliminate hazards at the work place. Note: Workers must have 24 hours of initial training and one day of supervised field experience before they are allowed to enter the site. **The online course meets the standard requirement of 24hrs of initial training. The one day field experience under a trained, experienced supervisor is the responsibility of the student's employer or potential employer. OSHA 40 Hour Hazwoper Training 
HAZWOPER 40 Hour is required for employees working on a project consisting of Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation mandated by the Government. This course is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Topics include protection against hazardous chemicals, elimination of hazardous chemicals, safety of workers and the environment and OSHA regulations. This course covers topics included in 29 CFR 1910.120. Note: Trainees must have additional hands-on training in the donning, doffing, and use of the Personal Protective Equipment required for their jobsite(s) in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120. Workers must also have 40 hrs of initial training before they may enter the site and at least three days of actual field experience under a trained, seasoned supervisor. The three days field experience under a trained, experienced supervisor is the responsibility of the student employer or potential employer. Hazwoper 8 Hour Annual Refresher Course 
This course meets the requirements in OSHA 29 CFR 1910. 120 for eight hours of annual refresher training for workers at hazardous waste sites.
This course is designed for general site workers who remove hazardous waste or who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances or health hazards. Topics include HAZWOPER regulations, safety and health plans, hazardous chemicals, safety hazards, air monitoring, medical surveillance, site control, decontamination, personal protective equipment, and respiratory equipment.
This course covers the topics in OSHA 29 CFR 1910. 120. Prerequisites: Enrollment is open to those who have already completed the 40-hour or 24-hour HAZWOPER training.

The New York State Plan for Public Employee Safety and Health (PESH), is responsible for promoting the health and safety for more than 2 million State and Local government employees in the State. The New York Department of Labor has been designated as the agency responsible for administering the plan throughout the State. The Commissioner of Labor has full authority to enforce and administer all laws and rules protecting the safety and health of all employees of the State and its political subdivisions. States must set job safety and health standards that are “at least as effective” as
Federal OSHA standards. States may promulgate standards that are more stringent than the comparable federal standards or promulgate standards covering hazards not addressed by federal standards.
The NY PESH Program has adopted all Federal OSHA standards and regulations applicable to public sector employment, with the exception of the Recordkeeping Rule, 29 CFR 1904. New York promulgated and adopted an alternative approach to recordkeeping requirements, under section 801 and administrative instructions 901.
